Thank goodness we found you before signing up on that ‘package tour’! We loved the safari that you planned for us. We are wrapping up our Kenya safari this evening with a gala dinner in Masai Mara. It all worked beautifully, and the camps were great. For Dave’s birthday, there was a surprise cake and celebration, with local dancers putting on a show for us all! The whole safari was a ten out of ten!

We still tell people that our safari was the best trip we’ve ever been on: hands down! 

This was the best trip we ever took! We can’t say anything negative about our safari. It was wonderful, from the moment we were met as we disembarked from the aircraft. We really liked the people, our hosts at each place, the beautiful properties, luxury accommodations, food, wildlife guiding and the unbelievable variety and abundance of animals. We started keeping a record of the animals and birds we saw, but when the list got well over 200, we started to lose track and simply gave up! 

We had a blast! All the camps were totally different, and they each gave us a different African experience. I found the amount of time at each camp to be perfect. I just want you to know how much we enjoyed the trip! 

I went to Kenya in 2006 on a trip planned by you. It was fabulous, and I have always said that if I went back, you would be the guy!

At each stop along the way, we were handed off to helpful people, whether at the airports/runways, the lodges, etc. At no time did we feel abandoned. Overall, it was fantastic, an A+ rating, and everything went like clockwork. I commend you on putting together a great itinerary. I really liked the different attributes of the camps and lodges, that was great – and you saved the best place for last! We saw everything, ALL the animals, and we are amazed at how close you can get to the animals. Plus the people there are all so nice. It’s odd, when you are on safari and busy every day doing and seeing things, you cannot really put it all into proper perspective. But when you get home, you think about all the amazing experiences, and then it hits you – holy mackerel!

You really put on a wonderful trip, Andrew. It was very special, and we really do not have anything we did not like. Cannot even compare it to anything we have ever done before! We saw all the animals, and the family all had a great time. Everyone over there was so nice. I am so glad we got to do it when we did, while we still could. Thank you again! 

I know it takes a lot of time on your part to answer even a probing query such as this, and I appreciate how you address even the smallest issue with full attention. What an incredibly well-coordinated trip! World class! We’ve all been talking about how much we appreciate your attention to detail and clear communication! 

All in all it was a great trip. Once again, thank you for all your hard work in putting thus together for our family. Everyone in Southern Africa was so nice, so friendly and helpful, the accommodations were great, the food delicious and all the transfers went smoothly. It was so nice to be helped through the airports and looked after throughout. This is our second time, but it made us want to go back to Africa yet again. Thank you again, Andrew.

A TV program years ago whetted my desire to see the Okavango Delta. Thus, I was ‘ripe’ when Bonita Bay included Andrew Fentiman in its Winter 2023 Lecture Series. Andrew, who has spent 45 years guiding and organizing African safaris, proved very personable. After his talk, I approached him about arranging a luxury safari to Botswana, to celebrate our forthcoming 60th wedding anniversary. Andrew assembled a custom-planned itinerary that was both luxurious and enjoyable. Thank you!

The safari – the whole experience - was way beyond expectations. It was so fantastic, such a great experience! We have been to some of the greatest hotels in the works, and yet we have never had service like we had on safari. On the way to a village, we came upon a herd of around eighty elephants feeding, and they passed right by the vehicle! Everything was so well organized, everything went smoothly, everything was clean and in good condition. The food and drink were amazing, and the staff were so kind; it is really hard to have anything to complain about! When we had to leave our last camp, there were tears in our eyes. The information you provided was great. Andrew, this was the best vacation experience ever, and you (and your work) are just incredible! 

It’s rare that I can say I have done TWO trips – and they were both lifetime experiences! 

WHILE ON SAFARI: We arrived safely and have been treated like family ever since. All of the logistics have gone smoothly, and the people here are lovely and kind. And of course, we’ve enjoyed seeing all the animals. Ken is running through his camera memory so quickly! So many great photo opportunities. Our guides have been excellent, and we have had a wonderful time at all the lodges and camps. Loving every minute here. AFTERWARDS: It has been an amazing trip for us, and we have had a simply wonderful time! Almost everything was better than we imagined. Seamless transfers from location to location, wonderful hosts, excellent food, and closer to the animals than we expected. We felt everything went very smoothly: nothing to improve. The hosts were attentive and organized and things were well planned out. The food was excellent and surprisingly fresh. The variety was good, and all of our preferences were achieved. The information you provided us in advance was excellent, and we felt well-prepared and well-packed. We have already recommended you!

Andrew, would like to thank you for putting together an awesome trip! I believe you pride yourself in your work, as you should, being so passionate about safaris. The people of Kenya – and especially at the camps – were over the top superb! We have never got that level of service anywhere! It was a trip of a lifetime, and we will never forget all the special moments with the animals and the people!

WHILE ON SAFARI: Wanted to follow up and let you know the trip has been really amazing so far! Rekero Camp was unbelievable; we’ve covered so much, I feel like we have been here a week! We just checked into Ol Donyo Lodge – and we are blown away! AFTERWARDS: Our honeymoon safari was everything we could have asked for and more than we could have imagined. The hospitality was incredible, everyone went above-and-beyond for us, transfers were great, no hiccups, and everything ran like clockwork. The way the journey was curated was perfect, as was the order of the different properties… really well thought-out. We kept saying each day, “How can it get any better than this?” And then the following day, it did! We are hooked, and would love to talk to you about our next trip; we want to bring family and friends, next time! 

It was so much more than we ever imagined. It went above and beyond our expectations. The hosts and guides were more than hospitable and friendly; if we mentioned something we would need or want, it was taken care of immediately. They aimed to please at all levels. The food was over the top, always plentiful, delicious and varied; excellent preparation and presentation. The accommodations were so varied, that I am not sure we have a favorite! I would not have changed a thing. Andrew, you made available everything we needed to know, before we left home for Kenya! Andrew, thank you for all your advice. You have been more than helpful in preparing for this trip!
